A trace is a single LLM request-response pair captured by Vigil. This includes the prompt, completion, token counts, latency, and any metadata you attach. MCP tool calls within a trace are included at no additional cost.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and you are billed a prorated amount. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
We notify you at 80% and 100% of your monthly limit. Once you hit the limit, new traces are queued but never dropped. You can upgrade your plan or purchase additional trace packs to resume real-time ingestion.
